Cuban students in Houston conquer TikTok dancing "El Punto": "Tremendous fun"

Cuban students in Houston are taking over TikTok by dancing to Cuban songs like "El Punto," with thousands of views.

Several young Cuban women studying to be Medical Assistants in Houston are taking TikTok by storm dancing to Cuban songs like "El Punto" or "Mi nombre."

The video that is gaining the most success on social media is the one where the user @china_camaguey appears with several other Cuban women, dancing "El Punto" by El Taiger, Oniel Bebeshito, Charly, and Johayron. A song that has not stopped playing in recent weeks, especially after the death of José Manuel Carbajal, one of its interpreters.

The clip shared by @china_camaguey has over 80 thousand views on TikTok, where we can see several young women in what seems to be their school's bathroom dancing to the rhythm of the song.

The reactions from the Cuban community on the platform have been quick to come, and many applaud the joy of these young women, while there are also those who wonder what "punto" means for Cubans...

"Tremendous enjoyment," "Up with the Cuban women," "Cuban women are too beautiful, a Venezuelan tells you," "Cuban women are the most beautiful," "Cuban women to power. God bless them and may all their dreams come true," or "We are unique," are some of the comments left for these Cubans.

What do you think?
