As of Monday morning, more than 4.5 million people had voted early in Florida, according to recent state statistics.
The data published on the Florida Division of Elections website tracks participation in early and mail-in voting. Early voting in the state will end on Sunday, November 3rd.
The published information reveals that as of the morning of October 28, a total of 2,090,695 mail-in ballots and 2,508,344 early voting ballots had been issued.
In total, 2,066,547 Republicans voted; 1,565,472 Democrats; 868,958 unaffiliated voters; and 98,062 voters from other parties.
Most early voting locations in the state opened on October 21, and counties are required to offer early voting until Saturday.
Situation in Miami-Dade and Broward
Voters in South Florida have also participated in early voting and mail-in voting.
As of Monday morning, unofficial participation in Miami-Dade reached 465,854 voters, with 279,466 votes cast during early voting and 183,866 by mail, according to the county's election supervisor.
Regarding affiliation, Republicans in Miami-Dade had cast 185,881 ballots; Democrats 158,803; independents 113,055; and "others" 8,115.
In Broward, unofficial participation reached 369,909 voters, with 194,602 ballots cast at early voting locations and 173,553 by mail, according to the county's Supervisor of Elections.
In this county, Democrats have cast 185,380 ballots, compared to 97,387 issued by Republicans, 80,216 by independents, and 6,926 by "others."
These unofficial figures are updated daily, and some counties make updates several times a day.
