Do you want to work at Walmart? Cuban shares a tip to grab the attention of the 'people lead'

Are you having trouble finding a job at Walmart? Check out the tip this Cuban offers.

Dianeyis García, a Cuban living in the United States, shared a tip for those who want to work at Walmart and have had no luck with the online application. According to Dianeyis, the trick is to bring a slip of paper with your first name, last name, phone number, and the word "application" to the stores where you applied, and give it to any associate, asking them to pass it on to the people lead—the person responsible for hiring at each store.

"If you want to get a job at Walmart, listen to this," she begins in the video, which has already received hundreds of reactions. Dianeyis explains that instead of trying to speak with managers, who are often busy and not very attentive, it’s more effective to target the "people lead" directly. According to @dianeyiskale, this Human Resources representative is the one who truly reviews applications and conducts interviews.

Dianeyis assures that she has witnessed firsthand how this trick works, recalling that while she was in the people lead's office, a candidate came in with one of these notes, and the person in charge kept all the ones that had been given to them. "Maybe at the moment there aren't any available hours, but when there are, they will check that information," she states.

The TikTok community quickly reacted. Several users shared their own strategies and experiences at Walmart. One commented, “No! My best advice is this: go straight to the back even if it says don’t enter! And there, look for the people lead’s office yourself!” Meanwhile, another user suggested that those interested approach the back door and ask to speak with the HR manager without needing to go inside. "That's how it works where I work," this user stated, supporting Dianeyis's technique.

There were also those who expressed their gratitude for the tip: “Thank you for your excellent comments. Blessings, and I hope you start soon in the other position.” On the other hand, some complained about the difficulties of finding employment in certain areas, like one follower who said, “I haven’t had any luck; I’ve applied everywhere, and here in this state, they require English.” Others shared their frustrating experiences, such as a user who went to the store several times without success: “My application has expired, and they never called me.”

Dianeyis, ready to support her followers, encouraged them to try again and offered more advice to improve their chances, including applying to multiple stores at once and being patient.

With this simple technique, Dianeyis is helping many job seekers get noticed by the right people at Walmart and take one step closer to employment in the United States. Could this be the ultimate trick to land a job at Walmart? It’s worth a try!
