A Cuban member of the LGBTIQ community was murdered in Havana under unknown circumstances.
The victim, identified on social media as Disneys Borrero, died between November 10 and 11 at the hands of her partner, as confirmed to the CubaNet portal by someone close to the case.
The crime occurred in the La Rosita neighborhood, in the San Miguel del Padrón municipality.
The news was shared on Facebook by user Almakki Díaz, who revealed that the young man who was killed was known in the gay community as Disney.
"According to local sources, this is a crime of passion, and the individual involved is on the run," he reported.
"Cuba is a pressure cooker," he added.
Borrero was a stylist specializing in eyebrow design in his neighborhood.
"What a shame, that young man was such a good person. Decent and well-mannered. And as a stylist, he was the best. Youth is fading away in this country without laws. They only go after those of us who are not from the PCC," lamented a local resident.
So far, the identity of the murderer and the motive for the crime are unknown.
