The Cuban actress Diana Rosa Suárez, who was in intensive care at the Cardiovascular Hospital in Havana due to ischemia, has surpassed the critical stage, although she remains hospitalized.

According to sports journalist Julita Osendi, Diana Rosa is doing much better and has already been moved to a room.

"She came out of therapy. The Zorro's girlfriend, at her 80 springs, does not give up. Good for her!" she expressed on Facebook.

Just over a week ago, the renowned artist suffered an ischemia that worsened her health condition while she was in the Cardiovascular unit recovering from a heart attack she had in Guyana, for which she was hospitalized in a public hospital in the capital, Georgetown.

Diana had traveled to Guyana for a visa appointment at the United States Embassy. There, the doctors confirmed that, in addition to a heart attack, she had experienced a similar cardiac episode three months prior. For this reason, she was advised to take a month of complete rest.

The Embassy of Cuba in Guyana reported that the actress was transferred to the public hospital in Georgetown, where she received a visit from the ambassador, who assured that her health condition would be monitored by the institution.

At the end of October, news of his medical discharge in the South American country was reported, although there was no information regarding his return to Cuba.

The actress, known for her prolific and popular career, wanted to apply for a visa that would allow her to reunite with her grandchildren and nieces in the United States.

Born in the Luyanó neighborhood of Havana, on August 30, Diana Rosa Suárez celebrated her 80th birthday with a grand party surrounded by friends and colleagues, including Tahimí Alvariño, Paula Alí, Verónica Lynn, Néstor Jiménez, Mario Aguirre, Héctor Noas, Miriam Socarrás, and Gretel Cazón, as well as presenter Marino Luzardo and singers Beatriz Márquez and Héctor Tellez.
