The Cuban urban music singer Yomil Hidalgo Puentes has once again demonstrated the loyalty and affection he feels for his late friends, fellow Cuban reggaeton artists El Taiger and El Dany.
On November 18th, the artist visited the graves of both to bring them flowers and honor their memories, a gesture that has become an emotionally significant tradition.
In the case of El Dany, Yomil has maintained the ritual of visiting his grave every 18th since the artist passed away in 2020 at the age of 31.
"Always in my mind and in my heart, little brother," Yomil wrote on his social media, in one of the many instances he has shared moments dedicated to his former duet partner, with whom he formed the iconic group Yomil y El Dany.
Yomil has now added a tribute to El Taiger to this routine, another beloved figure in Cuban urban music who recently passed away in Miami. Despite the geographical distance, Yomil wanted to honor his colleague and friend, who left a significant mark on his life and the music scene.
The visit took place at Colón Cemetery in Havana, one of the most important burial sites in Cuba. There, the reggaeton artist laid flowers on the graves of both artists, in an act filled with symbolism and nostalgia.
The artist shared on his Instagram stories images from the moment, showing him bringing flowers to the graves, accompanied by a simple yet heartfelt message: "The ones for Jose and the ones for Dany."
