A curious traffic accident occurred on Tuesday in Guantánamo, where a motorcyclist collided with the tow chain connecting two vehicles.

A witness to the incident shared photos in the Facebook group "ACCIDENTES BUSES & CAMIONES por más experiencia y menos víctimas!".

According to the account, everything happened at the intersection of Moncada and Prado streets, when one car was towing another "and the motorcycle didn't see the chain and got tangled up."

The motorcyclist and his passenger were thrown off the vehicle, but fortunately, they did not sustain injuries.

It appears that the driver of the motorcycle was at fault for not paying attention to the road.

"The car did stop at the stop sign, and it was towing the other vehicle, and it was when crossing that the accident occurred," said the author of the photos in the comments section.

"The driver was caught off guard and everything that could have been avoided happened, but in the end it was all material damage, which is what matters," he emphasized.

Group member Daniel Matos, who identified himself as the driver of the towed car, clarified that he had broken down on the road and that the driver of the truck offered to tow him out of goodwill.

"We did it with a chain, which was all we found," he said, adding that "the driver never even tried to brake because he didn’t see the chain, and if you look closely, the truck had already crossed the line and my car was in the middle of the street."
