The Cuban Alicia María López Hernández, teacher of the 22-year-old Jesús David Corcho Pérez, who was murdered in Jovellanos, Matanzas, demanded justice and stated that the victim was one of her unforgettable students.

In an emotional message posted on his social media, López Hernández expressed that "Jesús David was one of those students who leave a lasting impact on your life. A cheerful, independent young man with a big heart, who loved nature, animals, and life. I will always remember his smile and affection," he wrote.

The teacher also called for justice: "I demand justice for this vile crime; it must not go unpunished. The perpetrators must be held accountable for their actions."

The tragic news of Corcho Pérez's death was confirmed last Thursday by family and friends via social media, after he had been reported missing since Sunday, when he left his home at 4:00 PM on his scooter.

There is a hypothesis circulating that the young man may have been murdered for his motorcycle. However, this theory has not yet been confirmed by the authorities.
