The killer and his small victim, his own son.

“Please, anyone who sees this bastard, let me know urgently at this number. He is dangerous; he killed my son. Damn, it hurts so much! I ask you with all my heart, have mercy for my son. The crime

The child, Edgar Aliesky Martínez Torres, was being taken care of by his maternal grandmother when his father came to pick him up.

Although he went with the intention of taking his life, the family insists that no one imagined he could harm the child.

The man hanged the minor and then, in his escape, allegedly assaulted a pregnant woman on the street who was on her way to a medical appointment, assaulted her, and stole her cellphone.

The woman would be hospitalized in critical condition at the Maternity Hospital of Camagüey.

The child's mother, Keilin Torres, is being guarded by the police as the man claimed he would go after her to do the same.

A report on the case in the Facebook group "Crímenes en Cuba" claims that the reason behind the man's heinous crime was the refusal of the child's mother to continue their relationship.

The independent journalist from Camagüey, José Luis Tan Estrada, specified in a report for Cubanet that the brutal infanticide occurred specifically in the town of San Ignacio, in the aforementioned municipality of Minas, Camagüey.

Tan Estrada added that, according to testimonies from neighbors in the area, the individual had previously attempted to kill his ex-partner some time ago after she decided to end the relationship.

Unfortunately, this is not the first reported filicide in Cuba in recent hours. A 17-year-old teenager named Jader Machado Fis was killed by his own father in the city of Las Tunas, according to various reports on social media.

In that case, the assailant - whose identity has not been revealed - stabbed the minor in the neck. The teenager, despite undergoing emergency surgery following the knife attack, ultimately died from cardiac arrest.
