In an interview with communicator and host Tony Dandrades, El Divo de Placetas confessed that he dedicated this beautiful song to his only niece, Claudia, who passed away in 2021 due to COVID-19.

"It was very intense when I recorded it, thinking about my niece who passed away. For my family, my mom, my sister, my brother-in-law, Christmas has a different meaning, and with this song, I wanted to give them a little joy and the hope to say that at midnight, we can also toast with Claudia," said Eduardo Antonio, visibly moved and with tears in his eyes.

The death of his niece was a harsh blow for the artist and his loved ones. Following the passing of the young woman at just 24 years old in Cuba, the singer expressed that he would never be able to overcome this tragedy.

Eduardo Antonio stated at that moment that he was overwhelmed by profound sadness and anguish, especially the pain of witnessing the suffering of Claudia's parents and her grandmother.

However, El Divo wanted to dedicate a song that is full of joy and celebration, in order to remember that “wonderful and special girl,” as he described her, whom he always carries in his heart.
