Southern Florida is bracing for another significant drop in temperatures due to the arrival of two consecutive cold fronts.

After days of clouds, rain, and above-normal temperatures, the weekend promises to bring more pleasant and cooler weather for the residents of the region.

Starting today, Friday, a significant change in weather conditions will be observed.

Forecasts indicate that at certain times, temperatures could drop to 30°F (16.5°C) within a span of less than 12 hours, which represents a sudden shift in the weather.

A cold front that was under observation throughout the week has now moved to the south of the region, allowing the influx of a drier and cooler air mass.

This will mark the beginning of a drop in temperatures, which will be even more pronounced during the night on Friday and the early hours of Saturday.

Friday: The day started with temperatures in the high 60s°F (15-20°C) in several areas, including places like Kendall, where some fog was also reported.

Although a slight increase in temperatures is expected during the day, reaching warm values, a drop in temperature will begin to be felt at night.

Saturday: The morning will be chilly, with minimum temperatures dropping below 60°F (15.5°C) and afternoon highs not exceeding 70°F (21°C).

The day will be mostly sunny and dry, with ideal conditions for outdoor activities.

Sunday: Another cool morning is expected, with lows around 55-56°F (12-13°C). Conditions will remain stable, with pleasant weather and clear skies.

Christmas Forecast

This could bring isolated showers, particularly on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday. As we approach Christmas Eve and Christmas Day, there is a possibility of some downpours in Miami-Dade and Broward.
