Rachel Arderi warns about fake accounts on Facebook using her image to scam: "It's not me."

Rachel Arderi warns about fake accounts on Facebook using her image for scams. The Cuban influencer clarifies that she does not have a profile on that platform and asks her followers to stay alert and share her message.

For months now, Rachel Arderi has reported the existence of fake accounts on Facebook that use her image and the content she posts on her only Instagram profile to scam people.

The situation has become uncontrollable because many people have fallen for the scams of these websites.

Once again, the Cuban model and influencer clarified in a video that she does not use Facebook and asked her followers to try to share it so that people stop being victims of scams and cease following those profiles.

This situation is getting a bit out of control; I received a video from a girl on TikTok where she says she was scammed, for like a thousand dollars, by someone on Facebook pretending to be me. I have talked about this topic many times in my stories, but it seems like it's not getting through to them,” Rachel explained, assuring that both accounts are completely fake.

The content creator added that for more than a month, two professionals have been working on removing those pages, one with over 233 thousand followers and another with over 357 thousand.

Those accounts have only been dedicated to scamming people. First, I have no need to do that; second, I would never do that in my life (...) I am not that person; I don’t even know how those fake accounts have managed to gain so much reach using my image to steal and deceive,” emphasized the influencer, mentioning that her partner Oniel Bebeshito also does not have a Facebook account.

“The situation has me extremely upset, I don't like what is happening, I don't like what's happening with my image, nobody knows the sacrifice one has to make to get to where they are only for some shameless person to take your image to gain three or four followers and start scamming people,” she said very indignantly.

These types of scams are very common on social media; profiles are created using the images and content of well-known individuals to promote services, businesses, and travel agencies that are completely fake, with the aim of deceiving internet users.
