The influencer and Cuban model Daniela Reyes continues to share her day-to-day life in Miami with her followers, and this time, she shared a moment that sparked laughter, anecdotes, and even debates on social media: her first time filling up a car with gas in the United States.
With an impeccable look, dressed in pink and with a Chanel bag on her shoulder, Daniela started her video by saying: "Today I want you to join me for my first time putting gas in the car here in the United States." Reyes, who has been driving a Porsche since her arrival in Miami, confessed to feeling a bit nervous, as she had never done this task before.
In her testimony, she shared that in Cuba and Mexico, it wasn't necessary to get out of the car to fill up the tank, which led her to face this "challenge" for the first time in her life. Amid laughter, she recounted how she parked, paid in cash inside the gas station, and then returned to confront the real challenge: handling the hose and connecting everything correctly. "I didn't even know how to take the hose out… apart from the fact that it was quite heavy," she said, admitting that it was a huge relief when she finally managed to fill the tank.
In the end, Daniela took the opportunity to leave a motivational message: "Do what you fear, and the fear will disappear," inviting her followers to share similar experiences in the comments.
The reactions were swift. While some users related to the moment by sharing their own anecdotes, others seized the opportunity to joke about the comparison to gas stations in Cuba. "Mima, where in Cuba do they put gas that I can't remember?" and "In Cuba, there's no gas; can you imagine if they put it in the car?" were some of the most repeated comments.
Some took the opportunity to share their personal experiences: "My first time was also a disaster; I almost poured diesel into the car, and thanks to a man who shouted at me, it didn't happen," wrote one user. Another person confessed, "I soaked my feet in gasoline because the hose didn't lock."
There were also those who highlighted her look: "Daniela shows us that even when getting gas, you have to look stunning and divine" and "The true 'I’m just a girl' Latin version." Others, however, focused on the Porsche she was driving, emphasizing: "First time getting gas, but in an amazing car" and "As long as you don’t put diesel in the Porsche, all is well."
In response to some comments, Daniela used her stories to clarify that her intention was not to say that one does not need to get out of the car in Cuba, but rather that she was specifically referring to Mexico. "I meant to say in Mexico, maybe I didn’t explain it clearly," she replied to a user who questioned this statement.
This new anecdote from Daniela adds to those she has already shared during her stay in Miami, such as her visits to the Miami Design District and her frequent mentions of the Porsche she drives, thanks to the dealership she has referenced on more than one occasion. Since arriving in the Magic City last December, the actress has kept her audience entertained with spontaneous moments like this, generating constant interaction on her social media.
For now, Daniela continues to enjoy her time in Miami, sharing glimpses of her life with her followers, who never miss an opportunity to comment, joke, or debate every detail.
