A Cuban mother is seeking help to obtain medication to treat the illness that her baby, only one month old, is suffering from.
The woman from Ciego de Ávila reached out to journalist and writer Guillermo Rodríguez Sánchez, who amplified the request and shared photos of the girl on Facebook where the rashes on her skin are visible.
Seborrheic dermatitis mercilessly attacks this baby from Ciego de Ávila, and her mother is desperately asking for my help via Messenger, so I turn to you, followers," she wrote.
The minor needs gentamicin and hydrocortisone cream.
"If you live in Ciego de Ávila, have any of those ointments, and want to donate them, here is the mother's phone number," added the author of the post.

Seborrheic dermatitis is a chronic inflammatory skin condition that causes red patches and fine scaling in areas of the face, scalp, or inside the ear, alternating between cycles of remission and exacerbation. It typically appears in adults but can also affect newborns and infants up to four months old. The cause is not known.
