They told him he was "inflating," and he responded with the receipt: This is what La Dura spent at the Hermès store

The Cuban influencer La Dura proudly showcased her purchase of an Hermès handbag, responding to authenticity criticisms with a receipt for $14,578. The acquisition sparked debate on social media.

The Cuban influencer Diliamne Jouve, better known as La Dura, created a stir on social media after excitedly announcing that she was offered for the first time a handbag at the store of the exclusive brand Hermès, one of the most prestigious fashion houses in the world.

"And the day finally arrived. The day I was offered my first bag at Hermès," she wrote on Instagram, alongside a video in which she showcases her brown Kelly bag. In an unboxing video, she expressed the excitement she felt during the process and the symbolic value this acquisition holds for her.

According to what she explained, this is her first bag offered directly by the store, a privilege reserved for customers who reach a certain status with the brand. While she claims to have a "wide collection of bags from the Hermès house," she emphasized that this occasion is special. "The day came when they offered me my first bag at Hermès, of many to come, as my salesperson said. I felt as if a door opened to a parallel universe of elegance, exclusivity, and divine leathers," she said excitedly.

For La Dura, this purchase represents much more than just a luxury item: “It’s much more than an accessory; it’s a symbol of style, patience, and that touch of magic that only Hermès can provide. I assure you that I will keep this piece in my closet forever.”

The celebration, however, was not without controversy. Some users questioned the authenticity of the purchase. One follower even wrote: “Why didn’t you show the seller while paying? Hahaha, inflationist!”

In response, Diliamne decided to settle the controversy by displaying the official receipt from Hermès Miami, which shows the purchase of a Kelly II Retourne 25 Togo for a value of $12,000, along with other accessories that brought the total bill to $14,578.

“Here I show it to you so you can sleep peacefully”, he wrote alongside the image of the receipt, making it clear that the luxury wallet is authentic.

The publication has sparked diverse reactions: while some applaud its achievement as a reflection of style and perseverance, others criticize the ostentation in a context of economic crisis that affects many Cuban families.

For his part, Kenny Robert, in addition to commenting on La Dura's post ("Girl, I bought it for you and you didn't even thank me"), seized the opportunity to make one of those videos that his followers love, using the audio from the influencer's video.
