A heated exchange of words between Damian's aunt and Teresa following the unsuccessful death sentence for the murder of El Taiger

Damian Valdez's aunt attacked Teresa Padrón, and El Taiger's former manager responded.

The aunt of Damian Valdez Galloso lashed out at Teresa Padrón, after the former manager of El Taiger expressed her dissatisfaction with the prosecutor's decision not to seek the death penalty for Damian for the murder of the reggaeton artist, which occurred in October 2024.

In a video posted on her YouTube channel, Evelyn, who is Damian's aunt by marriage, had strong words against Teresa.

“Teresa, who the hell are you to judge if a person lives or dies? Who are you?” The woman was that blunt, and she then outlined the three wishes that, in her opinion, the “Aladdin's lamp” would have granted to Teresa.

Those wishes are: that they would find Damian, that they would elevate the second-degree murder charge to first-degree, and finally, that justice would be served… something Damian's aunt believes has already been achieved, even though her nephew has not yet been convicted.

“What you’re doing is no longer justice, it’s now just a whim, it’s horrendous, it’s shameless, it’s about staying relevant on social media. What do you want now? Do you want him dead?” Look, just so you know, because you won’t be able to sleep, Damian will keep breathing,” the visibly upset woman added.

"What you are doing, you who say you believe in God, is not of God, no. People who believe in God do not act the way you are acting [...] A person who believes in God does not wish death upon anyone. What you are doing is revenge," he added.

Evelyn said that what happened with El Taiger was "a consequence" of the life he was leading, and she criticized Teresa for not having helped him more during his life to escape that world.

"Now, after he's dead, wanting to make you the mother of the girls, the Saint Teresa, the one who loved El Taiger more than anyone... No, mom, keep going to your cemetery," concluded Evelyn, who did not hold back strong words and even profanity referring to Teresa Padrón's mother.

“Things are not as you say, things are not as you think”, he also said, hinting that there may be surprises in the trial.

Teresa's response

The former manager and close friend of the murdered reggaeton artist did not take long to respond, though her reply was devoid of the venom displayed by the one who attacked her first.

"Wherever Jose is, with Papa Dios, he knows everything Teresa has done, he knows it,” he said without delving too much into the chain of offenses and arguments from Evelyn.

Next, Teresa asked that there be no discussion about her deceased mother and requested respect.

"I don't care if they talk about me, but don't talk about my mom; my mom is sacred to me. Let's respect people's families," she said, on the verge of tears.

Padrón concluded his speech by reaffirming his commitment to El Taiger and to his family.

"I am at peace with myself, and I know everything I have done and what I continue to do. Not only for José, but also for José's family, and they know who I am," he concluded, without mentioning Damian or delving into the aggressive controversy that was sparked by Valdez Galloso's aunt.

On March 24, the decision of the Miami Dade Prosecutor's Office was made public to not seek the death penalty for Damián Valdez-Galloso in the murder case of El Taiger, a decision with which his family members have expressed dissatisfaction.

The decision by the Prosecutor's Office has generated divided opinions among El Taiger's supporters and fans, who demand justice for his murder. While some disagree with the decision not to seek the death penalty, others believe that justice will be served if Valdez-Galloso spends the rest of his days in prison.

The Prosecutor's Office stated that if it goes to trial, they will be seeking a life sentence for the accused. In addition to the charge of first-degree murder, Damián Valdez-Galloso is also being charged with evidence tampering and possession of firearms.
