The five individuals who were injured in a accident that occurred on Tuesday in the municipality of Puerto Padre, Las Tunas province, were discharged after receiving medical care at various health institutions.

According to journalist Rosa María Ramírez Reyes, as reported on social media, Xiomara Rodríguez Filantro, Daniel Pérez Pérez, Raúl Pérez Machado, Edel Ramírez Garcés, and Nasly Pérez Fernández, the underage individual involved, are now home.

The incident occurred in the morning when a car collided with a bicycle, causing injuries to four adults and a one-year-old girl.

Causes of the accident: still without official confirmation

On social media, witnesses claim that the vehicle involved — a Lada — lost control and ran over a man and a child who were riding a bicycle, leaving them trapped under the car. However, this version has not been officially confirmed.

The accident occurred in front of the Forest of Love and the Electromedicine Workshop, on the road leading to the local hospital, but the exact causes of the incident have not been clarified by the authorities.
