The President of the United States, Donald Trump, announced that he will present a significant trade agreement and described it as "the first of many" economic pacts he aims to promote.
The announcement was made through his account on the Truth Social network, where he previewed that he will hold a press conference this Thursday at 10:00 a.m. (local time) from the Oval Office at the White House.

“Big press conference at 10:00 a.m. in the Oval Office regarding an important trade agreement with representatives from a large and highly respected country. The first of many!!!” Trump wrote, in capital letters, as he often does in his posts.
Although the initial message did not specify the country involved, the channel Telemundo 51 reported that it concerns the United Kingdom, one of the most significant economies in Europe and a strategic ally of Washington on multiple fronts.
The information about the contents of the agreement has not yet been revealed, but it is expected to cover key trade topics such as tariffs, the exchange of goods and services, and technological cooperation.
The relationship between the United States and the United Kingdom has historically been strong, although it has faced recent fluctuations in trade. This agreement could signify a substantial reconfiguration of the economic priorities of both countries in an increasingly competitive global context.
Trump has not confirmed whether the agreement has already been signed or if it is still in the negotiation phase, but the staging from the Oval Office suggests that it is a politically and media impactful announcement.
