A scene worthy of an action movie was captured from a high-rise building in Miami, where three individuals performed parachute jumps in the dead of night, surprising residents and users on social media.
The video, published on the popular Instagram account @onlyindade, shows how people jump from the heights of what is presumed to be the 50 Biscayne building, deploying their parachutes as they descend over the illuminated streets and parks of downtown.
The images, which look like they were taken from a real-life version of Grand Theft Auto, went viral quickly.
While a woman records from the balcony, a man can be heard exclaiming in astonishment: “Oh my God, no way… these guys are jumping off the damn building. A third one, a third guy, these guys look crazy.”
"I don't think they're allowed to do that," the woman says. The man confidently replies, "Of course they're not allowed," making it clear that this is an illegal and extremely dangerous maneuver.
Comments on social media came in quickly, comparing the action to scenes from Power Rangers and missions from the video game GTA 6. Some users joked, saying "Mission: Impossible," while others warned about the risks of such extreme urban maneuvers.
Although it has not been confirmed whether those responsible faced legal consequences, the video has served as a reminder of the limits between extreme entertainment and public safety. In Miami, however, nothing seems to surprise anyone anymore.
