Cuban YouTuber responds to messages that demean his image: "El Chicleee is a character."

The Cuban YouTuber El Chicleee clarifies that his character is fictional and rejects offensive messages that harm his personal image. He asks for a distinction between fiction and reality, denying rumors about his life.

The Cuban YouTuber known for his irreverent character El Chicleee responded emphatically to the offensive messages that, he reported, are impacting his personal and professional image beyond the realm of humor.

In a video posted on his Instagram account, he clarified that his content is based on the interpretation of a fictional character and requested respect for himself.

“How can I explain this without it sounding funny? Gentlemen, for those who don’t know and for those who do know and think it’s not true or still have doubts, El Chicleee is a character. I need you to understand that they are targeting me, not just El Chicleee, but me as a person like all of you, to create things, content, while tarnishing my image and it is causing problems in many sectors where there shouldn’t be any,” explained the content creator.

The influencer hinted that, although his character is eccentric and often provokes reactions among many internet users, fiction should not be confused with reality.

“He is a character, gentlemen, I need you to take this to heart. If you want to mock or laugh, that's fine, but going as far as to defame is simply unacceptable,” he asserted.

In the same video, the YouTuber strongly denied rumors about his lifestyle, refuting the consumption of drugs or criminal behavior: “I am a normal person, I haven’t killed anyone, I am not an alcoholic nor am I a hitman, none of that”.

El Chicleee has gained popularity on social media for his videos filled with humor and gesturing, but his recent statements aim to draw boundaries between comedy and personal disrespect.
