A true miracle occurred this Thursday on the ill-fated flight in India with 242 people on board when a passenger, identified as Ramesh Vishwashkumar, walked out from the debris of the Boeing 787-8.
The injured man, a 48-year-old British citizen traveling in seat 11A and the only survivor of the incident so far, walked, bewildered and in pain, towards an ambulance shortly after the accident.
He was wearing a blood-stained white t-shirt, dark pants, and was limping. He then stated that he was traveling with a brother whom he tried to find among the corpses but could not.
The Hindustan Times reported that Vishwashkumar had traveled to India to visit his family and was flying back to London with his brother, Ajay Kumar Ramesh, who is 45 years old.
"When I got up, there were bodies all around me. I was scared. I got up and ran. There were pieces of the plane everywhere," Vishwashkumar stated to the newspaper.
He then said, "I can't find my brother," and added that "He was traveling with me and is in another line. Please help me find him."
Vishwashkumar has been living in London for two decades, where his wife and son also reside.
The authorities have not provided an official medical report on his condition.

Of the passengers, 169 were Indian citizens, 53 were British, seven were Portuguese, and one was Canadian.
