The Colombian star Karol G has once again shaken up the music scene with the release of her highly anticipated album Tropicoqueta, a work filled with Latin flavor, luxury collaborations, and refreshing sounds that are already winning over digital platforms.
With 20 songs designed to be listened to from beginning to end, the artist celebrated the album's release with a direct message to her fans: "The album is out... Have you listened to it yet? I want to see you share your Top 5 favorites in your stories!", she posted on her Instagram account.
The premiere came with a visual surprise: the music video for “Papasito”, a catchy Venezuelan techno merengue where Karol shares the spotlight with American actor Dany Ramírez, known for his roles in Hollywood series and films.
“Of all the songs on the album, I couldn't create a top 5 of favorites because each time, depending on the mood, I connect more with some than others… but this song, ‘Papasito’, is definitely my #1! It’s a Venezuelan techno merengue, inspired by one of my favorite orchestras, Los Melódicos,” wrote the artist, who also highlighted the magic and nostalgia behind the music video.
Among the highlights of Tropicoqueta is "Verano Rosa," a collaboration with her partner, the artist Feid, which has been warmly received by her followers.
Another duet that has touched the hearts of the audience is "Coleccionando Heridas", an emotional song featuring the Mexican Marco Antonio Solís.
