Hours after the Cuban reggaeton artist El 2Chun publicly denounced Oniel Bebeshito and producer Roberto Ferrante for the alleged illegal appropriation of the song "Perriña", the singer of "El Punto" and "Mi nombre" reacted indirectly, but very visibly, on his social media.

Oniel shared a video from a private hangar in the United States, walking among small airplanes and accompanied by the phrase “No pay attention to the comments”, a line from one of his songs that has also been interpreted by many followers as a silent response to the conflict. In the footage, he appears calm, dressed in black and focused on what some interpret as a statement of personal success.

The post quickly went viral on Instagram, accumulating hundreds of supportive comments for the artist. “Vision and mindset,” “The best in my country,” “You’re already in the private,” “Cuba shining in the USA,” and “Worry when they don’t talk about you” were just a few of the phrases with which his fans backed him. Other comments referred directly to the controversy, celebrating his apparent indifference to the accusations: “This is how you respond: with actions,” “Proving it with aircraft,” or “Just keep flying high, let the others bark.”

Although Bebeshito has not issued a formal statement regarding El 2Chun's allegations, this public appearance in a triumphant tone has been interpreted as a form of non-verbal communication strategy: to showcase success, focus, and progress while the controversy continues to unfold on social media and in the press.

Meanwhile, El 2Chun continues to defend his authorship of the song "Perriña," claiming to have legal evidence and registration with ASCAP since 2020. So far, Planet Records has not issued an official response either.

The controversy once again brings to the forefront the debate over copyright in Cuban urban music and the relationships between artists and record companies.
