A couple of Cubans living in the United States shared on social media the joy of having purchased their first home in Cuba, a dream come true that they have proudly showcased.

Through her TikTok account, user @claudiafrank posted a video featuring several photos of the house, accompanied by the message: “Officially our first house in Cuba.” The post has generated hundreds of reactions from users celebrating the achievement of the emigrants.

The property, surrounded by tropical vegetation and protected by a wrought iron fence, features a front garden and several green areas that reflect the typical environment of Cuban houses in rural or semi-urban areas.

The images depict a house painted white with stone accents and a driveway lined with ornamental plants.

The husband, as mentioned by the video’s author, works as a truck driver in the U.S., a common job among Cuban emigrants due to the economic opportunities it provides. Thanks to their effort and sacrifice, they have managed to gather the necessary funds to invest in a property in their home country.

This type of story reflects a growing trend among Cubans abroad, who seek to maintain a connection with the island through real estate investments, despite the economic challenges the country faces.

In the comments section, many users congratulated the couple on their achievement and emphasized the importance of not forgetting one's roots. Others took the opportunity to share similar experiences or express their desire to do the same someday.
