A traffic accident occurred Wednesday afternoon on the dangerous Calzada de Santo Suárez, in the Diez de Octubre municipality of Havana, where a motorcyclist was injured after being struck by a trailer truck.
The incident occurred around 4:00 p.m., according to witnesses on social media.
The victim, whose identity has not yet been revealed, reportedly injured a foot, according to a relative who denied initial reports that "the motorcyclist had died at the scene of the accident."
Residents of the area described the October 10th Road as one of the most dangerous routes in the capital.
The internet user Damián Montejo commented: “The most dangerous street in Havana, I dare say, stretches from the very beginning at the corner of Tejas to its end. Anyone who avoids that street is avoiding death or an injury to their body.”
