Fortune struck again in South Florida: a single ticket sold at a Publix supermarket in Hallandale Beach, in Broward County, won the jackpot of $36.5 million in the Florida Lottery drawing held on Wednesday, September 24th.

According to the Florida Lottery on its website, the ticket matched all six drawn numbers: 2, 4, 6, 8, 18, and 22.

The sequence has generated comments among regular players, as all the numbers are even and four of them follow an unusual consecutive order for this type of draw.

A historic award in 2025

The amount of $36.5 million represents the second highest jackpot awarded by the Florida Lottery so far in 2025, surpassed only by the $43 million distributed in January in Destin.
