A Cuban woman shared her experience on TikTok during her stay at the Grand Memories hotel in Varadero, and she reported the poor condition of the first room assigned to her.

According to the account in the video, upon their arrival, they were given a room with a broken air conditioning unit, forcing the family to endure high temperatures until after 4:00 PM.

“I was lucky that I had brought a rechargeable fan, because it was extremely hot and the kids were really uncomfortable,” she said.

When they were finally assigned another room, the woman pointed out several deficiencies: the floor and bathroom had standing water, the furniture was outdated, there were stains in the minibar, and the minimal amenities included barely more than "a bottle of water."

Although he clarified that the room "was not dirty," he did describe it as "quite damaged." In contrast, he emphasized that the pool area was "very clean and nice," although he noted that the service from the staff left much to be desired.
