The Cuban Daylin Rodríguez, a 20-year-old Psychology student, represents the Island in the Miss Grand International 2025 competition, which is taking place in Thailand.

The young woman, who began her journey in beauty pageants at the age of 16 and was Queen of the Miami Carnival in 2023, is the hope of many to return Cuba to the podium of this prestigious international competition.

Since her arrival in Thailand on September 29, Daylin has been sharing her preparations and activities leading up to the competition.

"I finally got to carry CUBA on my chest!" she wrote on her social media, where she has expressed her enthusiasm for representing the country in this important global beauty event.

Cuba has not qualified for Miss Grand International for more than eight years. The only crown obtained by the Island was in 2014, thanks to the model Lis García.

Now, Daylin aims to bring back that glory with the support of all Cubans both inside and outside the country; however, the contest requires public voting.

Several Latin American countries such as Panama, Guatemala, and Ecuador have mobilized to support their candidates, and Cubans can also vote for their contestant.

To rank among the top 10 in the "Top Pre-Arrival," Cubans must start following the official page of Miss Grand International on Facebook; give Love (not “Like”) to Daylin's photo on the page of the contest (On Instagram here and on Facebook here). Only the hearts count; and share the post. Each share also adds points.

Voting will be open until September 30 at 5:00 p.m. (Thailand time).
