The Cuban content creator Ultrack broke his silence on how he feels about Pollito Tropical, after a moment from the popular Dominican reality show La Casa de Alofoke went viral. It all happened when Pollito, upon hearing that the South Korean Bibi —one of the most anticipated guests of the program— mentioned that she was friends with Ultrack, Pollito reacted with visible discomfort, a gesture that sparked comments and speculation on social media.
Ultrack and Claudia reacted to that moment with visible disappointment. Ultrack even commented that he felt very bad about what happened. However, after that, he decided to respond calmly during a Q&A session on Instagram, where a follower wanted to know what had happened between the two. The influencer explained that he simply reacted to the way Pollito expressed himself when his name was mentioned on the reality show, and he acknowledged that he would have liked the situation to unfold differently. However, he clarified that he holds no resentment at all: he assured that this is “his way of being” and that he has “no problem or anything against him.”
Ultrack also confessed that, over time, he has learned not to create expectations about people to avoid disappointments. "I haven't had expectations with people for a long time because when you create expectations, you get disappointed,” he commented honestly. That’s why he prefers to focus on doing good and moving forward: “I simply do what I can, I contribute. For some, I am good, for others I will be bad for life. And that’s it. But I wish everyone the best.”
In a conciliatory tone, he also took the opportunity to wish Pollito success in his journey through La Casa de Alofoke, acknowledging the difficulty of the challenge he faces. “This challenge he has set for himself is complicated and tough, and I wish him the best for him and his family. I hope he goes far. Blessings to them,” he expressed calmly.
Consulted about Pollito's reaction, especially after supporting him alongside his partner, Claudia Artiles, Ultrack was clear and consistent in his stance: “I did what I believe was right as a Cuban, to support another Cuban.” He recalled that, it's no secret that Pollito “has always had his own way of being,” and admitted that he would have preferred a different reaction, especially since the moment was televised to millions. “A million people were watching at that moment and they mentioned my name, and I would have liked him to react differently, but it was as it was,” he said without drama.
Far from fueling the controversy, Ultrack insisted that he does not regret having supported him. “Honestly, I do not regret supporting him. I wish him the best. I do what I must as a Cuban and I do not regret that. I wish the best for him and his team, because it is a very difficult challenge,” he stated.
These words come just a few days after he and Claudia revealed that they had donated $600 to help Pollito Tropical before their participation in the Dominican reality show. Ultrack preferred to close the chapter with elegance and gratitude, making it clear that there is no room for resentment in his life, only for good wishes.
