“They give them away for free! A Cuban is caught stealing a garbage container in the U.S.: ‘When I thought I had seen it all.’”

A viral video shows a man, allegedly Cuban, stealing a trash bin in the U.S., despite the fact that these are provided for free to residents. The incident has sparked debate and humor on social media.

A viral video shared on TikTok by user @yerigarciarealtor captures the unusual moment when a man, presumably Cuban, stops on a residential street in the United States, opens the trunk of his vehicle, and takes someone else's trash can.

The images, recorded by a security camera, show how the individual places the trash bin inside the car without realizing they are being filmed.

"Guess where this is… Someone can tell you that here the houses have cameras and that if you call the city they’ll give you a trash can if you need one," the video's author wrote ironically.

The clip quickly went viral within the Cuban community on social media, generating a wave of comments that ranged from surprise to humor. “Just when I thought I had seen it all,” wrote one of the users.

In many U.S. cities, local governments provide garbage bins free of charge to registered residents, making the attempted theft even more unusual.

Although the man's identity has not been revealed, the video has sparked a debate about the attitudes and behaviors of some newcomers to the United States, while other users have called for not generalizing or judging an entire community based on isolated cases.
