Cuban content creator Daniela Martínez Hernández, known on social media as @daniela_martine._, excitedly celebrated the purchase of her first car in Brazil, an achievement she wanted to share with her followers to inspire other Cubans both on and off the island.
In a video posted on her social media, Daniela explained that she is part of a family of Cuban emigrants settled in Tarumirim, a city in Minas Gerais. They started by working at a supermarket, and in the evenings, they made pizzas to sell.
In just a few years, they gained a customer base, and when they saved enough money, they started their own pizza business. Now they have achieved another of their dreams: owning a car.
"I make this video with the aim of inspiring Cubans scattered around the world, those in Brazil and those still in Cuba, because I want to show them that it is possible. You don’t have to be in the United States to achieve great things. In any country, including Brazil, dreams can be fulfilled as long as there is sacrifice, hard work, and faith," he affirmed.
The young woman explained that she acquired a Peugeot, a model that is not among the most popular in Brazil, but is in excellent condition. She mentioned that she had to buy it in another city.
"Only a Cuban understands the immense joy we feel. We come from having nothing and are slowly achieving what we once dreamed of," she concluded, emotionally.
