The Cuban influencer Rachel Arderi welcomed 2026 with an emotional video in which she recalled the most difficult moment of her life: the serious car accident she suffered in March 2025 in Miami, when her luxurious Mercedes-Benz G-Wagon —a gift from her partner, the singer Oniel Bebeshito— was struck by a truck and was completely destroyed.
“I felt that I lived and died in the same year, that’s why I learned, and since then my life sounds like this”, Rachel wrote while sharing a video that combines images from the day of the car gift, the accident, her time in the hospital, and more recent scenes with her family, conveying a powerful message of resilience and rebirth.
In the description, the influencer reflected on how that experience profoundly transformed her. “After so many months of not revisiting this moment, today I do so to bring closure to a year that taught me so much, changed my life, and grounded me. I bid it farewell with gratitude, because today I understand why everything happened”, she expressed.
Rachel also took the opportunity to leave a message about life to her followers: “Live, liveeee. Forget about what others will say. You live, be happy, value the people who love you, and remind them how much you care, because we don’t know what will happen tomorrow. But today, while we are alive and healthy, we must be happy.”
