A photo of the Cuban influencer known as La Dura alongside producer Jorge Carlos Pajón has sparked a real uproar on social media in the past few hours. The image, posted in an Instagram story by friends of the couple during the New Year's celebrations, was quickly deleted, but it had already been captured and shared by the influencer Un Martí To Durako.
In the photo, Pajón is seen embracing La Dura around the waist while hiding her face in her shoulder, a gesture that many interpreted as a way to keep their relationship, which has been an open secret for months, under the radar.
However, what generated the most comments was not the closeness between them but La Dura's appearance, which many followers described as "unrecognizable without a filter." Users flooded social media with critical opinions, pointing out that the influencer looks "very different" from how she appears in her Instagram photos and videos, where she usually presents herself with a more styled look, featuring an enviable face and body.
"I thought she was taller," wrote one user, while another commented: "On social media, she's wow, but in person, it's popi." Others were more harsh: "The filters from La Dura left her at the final house," joked a follower.
The image, taken in what appears to be a nightclub in Miami, shows La Dura in a fitted, shiny white dress, the same one in which she poses in front of the mirror at her home. Although the original post has been deleted, the ripple effect on social media is already unstoppable, with thousands of comments mixing curiosity, criticism, and even mockery.
Neither La Dura nor Pajón have commented on the controversial photo yet, but many are already discussing "the first controversy of 2026" in the world of Cuban influencers on social media.
