The President of the United States, Donald Trump, issued a strong warning to cities governed by Democrats and stated that the federal government will not intervene in protests or disturbances unless local authorities formally request assistance.

In a message posted on his Truth Social account, Trump announced that he instructed Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem not to deploy federal forces in the so-called "poorly managed Democratic cities" unless there is an explicit request for assistance.

"Under no circumstances will we participate in the protests or disturbances in those cities, unless we are asked for help," the president wrote, emphasizing that local authorities must take responsibility for protecting both their properties and the federal buildings located within their jurisdictions.

The president emphasized that federal agencies, such as Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) and the Border Patrol, will be "very firm" in defending the assets of the United States government.

"We will not allow attacks or damage to our buildings, courts, or properties under federal protection," he added.

Trump assured that, in the event of assaults against federal agents, those responsible "will face equal or greater consequences."

He also recalled that the government will intervene only when governors or mayors request assistance and use the word "please."

The president referred to recent disturbances in Eugene, Oregon, where protesters stormed a federal building and caused property damage.

He criticized the local police for not acting to stop them and warned that his administration "will not allow that to happen again."

Trump insisted that he was elected with a clear mandate for "border control, national security, and law and order," and affirmed that the United States "will no longer tolerate misconduct or violence fueled by local incompetence."

"America wants law and order, and that's what it is getting," concluded the president in his statement signed as President of the United States.
