Ariel Reinaldo, a Cuban resident in Finland, has gone viral on social media after sharing, with his unique optimism and sense of humor, how he ended up working at a ski competition in -18 °C.

"They paid me 30 euros per hour to do this job in Finland,” he starts off saying in the video, which already has thousands of views.

According to him, a company hired him to promote a new Finnish drink, a non-alcoholic beer with fruity flavors, specifically pineapple.

"And when I saw that it was 30 euros an hour, I didn't ask much," he jokes. His task was simple; he had to approach the athletes as they crossed the finish line, offer them the drink, and encourage them to try it.

The real challenge wasn't selling the product, but surviving the extreme cold and convincing someone to drink beer in those conditions. "It was so cold that my mustache froze," he recounts, demonstrating how the event went.

In a second video, he explained that unlike other countries like Cuba, where it is necessary to chill beers due to the usual heat, in Finland he had to ensure that the drinks did not freeze and maintained an optimal temperature.

Ariel worked nine and a half hours straight. The result was 285 euros in his pocket, an unforgettable anecdote in the Finnish winter drinking beer, and over 300,000 views on his Instagram profile.

Beyond the humor, their story once again proves that cold, distance, or language don't matter. Cubans adapt and work wherever they are, proudly defending what they do, even promoting beer at a skiing competition.
