Verónica Giraldo, sister of Karol G, worried her followers after sharing several videos in which she appeared completely overwhelmed by her separation.

Between tears and a shaky voice, she spoke about the difficult moment she is going through and shared a phrase that impacted many: “They are trying to take my daughter away from me. They don’t know what it feels like.” Later on, visibly affected, she confessed: “I believe I have lost everything in this life. I lost my family.”

In the videos, she was seen trying to explain what she is going through after the end of her relationship and the issues she faces with her daughter's father. Her pain was evident, and at times, her words were mixed with tears. Minutes after posting them, she decided to delete the videos, although several users had already saved them and they began to circulate on social media.

The reactions came in quickly. Hundreds of supportive messages filled the comments. One of the most repeated was: “Don’t worry, Sofi will be with you. Karol G won’t let them take the girl away from you.” Others sent her words of encouragement like “Trust in God,” “You are a strong woman,” or “Your family will support you in this.”

However, there were also divided opinions. Some users questioned the decision to publicly address such a delicate topic, while others expressed concern for his emotional state and suggested that he should seek professional help during this sensitive time.

In another excerpt that also sparked debate, she stated: “I am not going to fight for my daughter. I was taught that one does not fight over men or children. At some point, Shophie will grow up. I don’t know what will happen to my life, but I am in a lot of pain.” Her words triggered mixed reactions among those who support her and those who believe she should handle the situation differently.

So far, neither Karol G nor the father of the minor have commented on the incident. Meanwhile, the topic continues to generate discussion on social media, where support, criticism, and concern intertwine around a deeply personal moment.
