The statements made by Colonel Víctor Álvarez Valle, who asserted on national television that the group's intention was to "overthrow the revolution" and that this is "well-established," sparked a wave of reactions among Cubans both on the Island and abroad.

Many comments reflect disbelief in the official version presented in the program Razones de Cuba, hosted by the official spokesperson Humberto López.

"His argument is laughable, and he's a good actor, he says it seriously," wrote a user. Another joked, "Was that a jet ski or the Titanic? Chill out, Humberto López."

Doubts were also raised about the volume of the weaponry showcased in the program: "And didn't that boat sink with that armament?" questioned another internet user.

The sarcastic tone was a recurring theme. "Is this the 67th season of Julito the fisherman?" someone remarked, while another referred to a staged performance: "They had already set up the show and prepared the list days in advance."

Comparisons with past episodes were not lacking: “But that was exactly what the July 26 Movement did,” noted a reader, referring to armed actions against state facilities.

Beyond the irony, political frustration also came to the surface. "And who wants the revolution? The cause of an entire people's misfortune," stated a commentator.

Another internet user summed up the popular sentiment of Cubans bluntly: “There has been no revolution for many years, only a each person for themselves mentality.”

Reactions on social media reflect an environment marked by distrust and polarization in response to the official discourse.
