The Cuban musician Ruzzo MC, former member of the group Orishas, shared a message about the situation in Cuba and expressed his wish for the country to achieve freedom in a video posted on social media.

In the material published on Instagram, the artist showcases a segment of a song with a strong social message, in which he describes the reality of life on the island and the challenges faced by its people.

"Little is gained, yes, but a lot is lost. Logically, if you are suffocated, you cannot fulfill your duties. The future of my Caribbean is virtual reality. Some have a lot, others have nothing, things are terrible," part of the lyrics says.

Ruzzo also refers to the prolongation of the crisis over time.

"The same story without an ending for centuries. It has turned into a mummy with me," she expresses.

At the conclusion of the message, the musician sends a direct message to the Cubans.

“Blessings for my Cubans, and may they truly achieve freedom,” he asserts.

Ruzzo was one of the founding members of Orishas, a group that gained international recognition with its fusion of hip hop and traditional Cuban music, although he is currently pursuing his career outside of the group.

His statements add to those of other Cuban artists who have used music and social media to reflect on the country's situation and express their views on its future.
