Cary Silvente, mother of the Cuban YouTuber and activist Anna Sofía Benítez Silvente (Anna Bensi), publicly expressed her gratitude for the support received during the process she is facing, while making it clear that she will maintain a firm stance.

"We trust in divine justice. Long live a free Cuba," he expressed.

The reaction comes after she attended a new summons from State Security in Havana this Wednesday, as reported by activist David Espinosa on Facebook. He specified that Silvente appeared accompanied by her lawyer in the morning.

The episode occurs in a context of tension characterized by over 30 hours of communication blackout reported by both the young woman and her mother, as well as prior interrogations in which, according to their accounts, there were threats of sanctions and pressures related to Anna Bensi's activities on social media.

According to complaints from the family, these actions are part of a pattern of harassment aimed at silencing the young woman's publications, who has gained visibility by exposing the everyday realities in Cuba, including blackouts, shortages, and social difficulties.

Despite the pressure, the message conveyed by Cary Silvente reflects an attitude of resilience amid the process, as she expresses gratitude for the support received and reiterates her confidence that the situation will have a fair outcome.
