The Dominican urban singer Yailin La Más Viral, whose real name is Jorgina Guillermo Díaz, was released this Thursday following her recent arrest in Santo Domingo Este.
A judge imposed a financial guarantee of 500,000 Dominican pesos (approximately 8,500 US dollars) as a coercive measure, which will allow him to face the judicial process while investigations proceed.
The artist was arrested last Tuesday during an operation conducted by agents from the Preventive Police and the Criminal Investigations Department (Dicrim). According to the preliminary report, Yailin was in a green Lamborghini when she was intercepted.
According to the authorities, inside the vehicle, two firearms were seized: a fifth-generation Glock 19 pistol with a magazine and two rounds, as well as a Zoraki pistol with a magazine and five rounds.
The Public Ministry argues that these measures aim to ensure the singer's presence during the proceedings, while the legality of the possession of the seized firearms is determined.
The news has generated significant buzz on social media, where Yailin's name is once again at the center of media attention, this time due to a new legal episode in her personal life.
