Rodiles asks Republican congressmen where the Internet for Cuba is that they asked Biden for

The Cuban opponent Antonio Rodiles posed a direct question this Saturday to the Republican congressmen of Florida during a live interview  on CiberCuba: "Where is the Internet for Cuba that they promised when they blamed Biden for not installing it?"

Rodiles recalled that following the protests on July 11, 2021, figures such as María Elvira Salazar, Mario Díaz-Balart, and Carlos Giménez defended that access to the Internet was crucial for the Cuban people and that it was not being provided due to the Democratic Administration.

"Get Internet already", demanded Rodiles, questioning why that same urgency is not being translated into concrete actions now that the Republicans are in power.

The activist, founder of the Estado de SATS Project and the Forum for Rights and Freedoms, pointed out that the statements from Cuban-American congress members have faded with Trump in the White House, and the big loser is the Cuban people.

His criticisms come at a time of intense diplomatic activity concerning Cuba. Trump declared on Friday that Cuba is next, while Marco Rubio confirmed negotiations with Havana demanding a complete change of the political regime.

The context also includes the Free Cuba Rally held last Tuesday in Hialeah, where the Cuban exile community gathered to demand freedom for the island, and to which Rodiles was not invited, as confirmed in an interview given this Saturday to CiberCuba.
