The Cuban influencer Gino Montalvo shared this week on TikTok the video he recorded when he first arrived in the United States, before knowing how to apply makeup or navigate social media, and the post sparked a wave of supportive messages from his followers.

"This was my first video in the U.S. without knowing how TikTok and social media work, and without knowing how to put on makeup. My first steps," Gino wrote in the description of the post, which he uploaded last Tuesday to his account @gino_montalvo_el_enorme.

The video, lasting 59 seconds, showcases a makeup transformation set to the rhythm of "Halo" by Beyoncé, in which Gino is seen dressed as a woman and made up at the end of the clip.

The song, which speaks about breaking down internal walls and finding light, reinforces the emotional tone and message of personal growth that Gino wanted to convey in the release.

The followers responded with enthusiasm and left supportive comments like "Those who are beautiful are beautiful", celebrating both the memory and the evolution of the content creator since their beginnings.

Gino Montalvo, also known as "Oyacito," is a Cuban influencer based in Miami who has established a strong presence on social media since his arrival in the United States.

Her recent trajectory has been marked by several high-profile moments within the Cuban community in exile.

At the end of 2025, she underwent a body transformation through cosmetic surgery in Miami —which included liposuction, fat transfer, and rib contouring— and stated: I feel like I've been reborn.

In January 2026, he participated in the reality show "El Rancho de Destino," created by the Dominican Destino Positivo, where he had a viral altercation with the influencer La Diosa and ended up in second place, receiving $25,000 and a Honda Civic as a special prize.

In March 2026, Gino also made headlines by blocking his ex-partner, the influencer Yoel Fashion, on all platforms, stating: "I feel that I deserve a person who is 100%".

The nostalgic video of his beginnings accumulated 61,900 views, 5,099 likes, 131 comments, and 96 shares, figures that reflect the bond the influencer has built with his audience throughout his process of adaptation and growth in the United States.
