Dagna Mata, the Mexican model who starred in the music video "Un Vals" by Christian Nodal, has broken her silence with explosive statements: she claimed that Ángela Aguilar "is doing very poorly" due to the ongoing controversy, that she has been without pay for 90 days for her work, and that she has been asked to sign a non-disclosure agreement.

The young woman, residing in Madrid, spoke exclusively with the paparazzi Jordi Martín for the program El Gordo y la Flaca, and her words left no one indifferent.

"It has been very difficult days. Many things have happened that I didn't expect," Dagna confessed from her home in the Spanish capital.

Regarding what Nodal's wife would be experiencing, the model was straightforward: "Supposedly, I've been told that this is all getting out of hand and that she is also doing very poorly."

The music video for "Un Vals" —released on April 10 as a romantic song dedicated to Ángela Aguilar— sparked a storm on social media from the very start, as fans noticed that Dagna bears a striking physical resemblance to Cazzu, Nodal's former partner and the mother of his daughter Inti: short dark hair, visible tattoos on her neck, and a style of clothing and accessories that are very similar.

To make matters worse, Dagna revealed that she didn't even know she would be the star of the clip.

"I actually didn't know I was going to be the lead. I was told that I would be like a girl who would be dancing with another guy, but not as a main character," she explained.

And there's more: the video was recorded in February and the model still hasn't seen a cent for her work, despite being promised payment within 30 days.

"Many times we find ourselves in a vulnerable position where we accept jobs or do things simply because we need to work," she said, revealing the difficult situation in which she finds herself.

With lawyers involved, Dagna confirmed that she is considering legal action against the production team, although for now she cannot provide further details.

As if that weren't enough, he claimed that he has been pressured to remain silent: he was allegedly asked to sign a non-disclosure agreement to prevent him from publishing or saying anything about what happened.

Since the release of the video, the model has also received thousands of offensive messages and insults, and she fears that this entire situation may end up affecting her modeling career.

Amid the uproar, Nodal distanced himself from the matter through his Instagram stories: "I do not own my name, nor my image, nor my music, and what has happened with the video is proof of that... But my voice, which is the only thing I have left, will always be with you."

The director of the music video, Juan Antonio Barbazán, took full responsibility for the casting and clarified that Nodal had never seen Dagna before the premiere: "At no point was there any strategy or anything of the sort, it was a decision made by me and the other director, and we didn't run it by Christian." He also publicly apologized to Ángela Aguilar "in case she felt offended."

Dagna, for her part, made it clear that she does not want to fuel the confrontation between women: "I am on the intelligence team that does not promote hate, that does not encourage this type of accusations against other women, and that simply does things for the sake of work."

With the religious wedding of Nodal and Ángela now postponed —which was scheduled for May— and this new storm showing no signs of subsiding, the controversy surrounding the couple does not seem to be ending anytime soon.
