The Cuban reggaeton artist Ja Rulay shared an emotional maternity photo session on Instagram this Thursday with his girlfriend, the young Cuban Marell Infante, who is in the final stretch of her pregnancy.
The images, taken in a professional photography studio with a neutral background and a black-and-white aesthetic, showcase the couple in poses filled with tenderness and meaning.
In one of the most striking photos, Ja Rulay is seen kneeling in front of Marell's belly, his head resting on her abdomen and his hands gently cradling it, looking at the camera with a genuine smile.
Another image shows them standing together: he is leaning towards her belly, with short braids, black-rimmed glasses, a sleeveless white t-shirt, and extensive tattoos on both arms; she has long wavy blonde hair, a white crop top, and low-rise jeans, with a pronounced belly and a serene expression.
One of the most elegant shots from the session captures Marell alone, seated in profile on a cylindrical pedestal, enveloped in a flowing satin dress that cascades to the floor, with her hands resting on her belly and a contemplative expression.
The message accompanying the photos revealed the artist's more sensitive side.
"My life has taken a turn, and I am turning with it, I dream every day of holding my baby in my arms and giving the love, education, and warmth of a father that I never had," wrote Ja Rulay, who was raised by his mother alone in a humble dwelling in La Habana.
The artist also dedicated words to his mother: "Thank you mom for all your advice, for always being there as both a father and a mother, but today you will become a grandmother."
And he ended with a promise to his girlfriend: "I promise you before the eyes of God that I will not let you down. A little Ja Rulito is on the way."
Marell herself responded in the comments with a statement that summed up both of their feelings: "You make me very happy, our baby is very lucky to have you as a dad. We're going to do this amazingly together, I love you, thank you."
The session comes at a particularly emotional moment for the couple. Just a few days earlier was Marell's birthday. And that same Thursday, Marell's stories showed both of them strolling along the Spanish Mediterranean coast, hand in hand.
The couple confirmed in January 2026, during their baby shower, that they were expecting their first child together. Ja Rulay and Marell made their relationship public in 2025.
