Pedrito Calvo turns 84 years old, and this is how his son congratulates him from Miami

The popular Cuban singer Pedrito Calvo has celebrated his 84th birthday, and his son Pedrito Calvo Junior sent an emotional and festive message from Miami that encapsulates the love of an entire family and the affection of millions of Cubans.

Pedrito Calvo Junior posted on his Facebook profile a congratulatory message filled with joy and family humor, tagging his father and sharing a photograph of both of them smiling, wearing wide-brimmed hats in a recreational setting.

The artist, recognized as the lead vocalist of Los Van Van for almost 30 years, received a greeting from his son with these words: "How strong! You've already reached 84 springs! Maybe 85, if you really were born in 1941 and Grandma registered you a year later."

Pedrito Junior expressed his desire to celebrate alongside his father, even from a distance, since he lives in the United States where he is building his artistic career after deciding to follow in his father’s footsteps.

"The truth is that in all those decades, only a select few carry it with vitality and the desire to keep making history, just like you do. We love you, children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and I am sure many of the millions of the Cuban people," the young man remarked.

And concluded with a "Congratulations, dad!"

It is not the first time that Pedrito Junior publicly celebrates his father: when Pedrito Calvo turned 79, his son already dedicated an emotional message on social media, a tradition that has persisted over the years.

The young man, who leads his own orchestra, maintains a close relationship with the legendary singer despite the distance.

In March of last year, Pedrito Calvo himself performed alongside Los Van Van and Mayito Rivera in Peru, showing that even at over 80 years old, he remains actively engaged in his artistic career.
