A tense confrontation between the Cuban influencer Gino Montalvo, known as Oyacito, and the contestants Michael Flores and Jiménez within the reality show Planeta Alofoke sparked a massive wave of support for the Cuban on social media, with thousands of messages under the hashtag #TeamGino and phrases like "Cuba is with you."

The incident shows Michael Flores and Jiménez confronting Gino in an aggressive and contemptuous manner.

From Gino's account, they shared the tense moment with the following text: NOBODY CAN HANDLE MY TEAM HERE #teamgino, which accumulated over 83,900 views, 13,161 likes, and 2,206 comments in just a few hours.

The most emphatic reaction came from his friend, the Cuban influencer Kenny Robert, who recorded a video over two minutes long without a wig or makeup to make it clear that the moment was serious. "I'm going to make this video without a wig, without anything, because my aim is not to make this entertainment. But it seems to me that these people have crossed the line, they have crossed the line," Kenny stated.

Kenny went straight to defend his friend: Gino is Miami and Miami is Gino. "And many of us here in Miami who are Cuban have at some point supported Michael a lot, we've perhaps supported Jiménez, who wherever he goes, it’s a fight, it’s a shout, it’s a brawl."

The call to the Cuban community was explicit: "Oyacito, we will continue to support, we will continue to support. If we Cubans are a bunch of stubborn ones. With us Cubans, you have to take the thread."

The comments on social media overflowed with solidarity from multiple nationalities. "Gino, don't give up; Cuba is with you."

Even Puerto Rican and Dominican followers joined in the support: "I am Puerto Rican and in this season... if there is anyone in the Cuban entertainment world who is well-spoken, respectful, and knows how to communicate, it's that kid; and the humble heart that child has, starting today I declare myself #teamgino."

Several followers pointed out that Jiménez had already been involved in similar clashes with other Cuban influencers in previous reality shows, such as Fiu Fiu and Vladimir, suggesting a pattern of behavior.

Some users interpreted the incident as a strategy to destabilize Gino, who, according to comments on social media, was in second place in the voting standings of the reality show at the time of the confrontation.

Gino Montalvo joined Planeta Alofoke on April 13 carrying the Cuban flag, with the promise to represent his people "with love, discipline, and unity" during the 55 days of coexistence of the program, which offers a grand prize of 250,000 dollars.

The most liked comment throughout the controversy summed up the feelings of many: "Michael came in to back up Jlexis," referring to previous warnings from another participant about Michael Flores' behavior in the reality show.
