El Chacal and Yakarta released the official video for "Me Solté" this Thursday, the first single from their joint EP titled "Baby's on Fire," produced by DJ Conds.
The announcement was made by El Chacal through his Instagram account, where he teased a snippet of the video, generating a lot of excitement among his fans.
"The promises are not spoken, they are fulfilled," the artist wrote in his post, generating a wave of reactions among his followers even before the material was available.
"This is taking off like a rocket… without brakes and heading to the moon. Get ready because what's coming is FIRE," the artist assured.
"Me Solté" is a track that blends reggaeton and rock with explicit lyrics, true to the urban style that has defined the careers of both artists.
Chacal and Yakarta are considered one of the most iconic duos in Cuban reguetón, with an artistic partnership that formally developed between 2010 and 2016, during which they released several albums that made them favorites among the island's audience.
After years of separate pursuits and occasional collaborations, the EP "Baby's on Fire" represents a significant artistic reunion, especially following Yakarta's absence from the scene in 2025 due to legal issues in the United States.
El Chacal, for his part, has maintained consistent activity and is among the 10 most listened to Cuban artists on digital platforms, with millions of monthly streams.
On March 31, the two shared the stage in a joint concert that already hinted at the excitement of this new creative phase, and the audience's response made it clear that the reunion was more than welcome.
