The U.S. dollar is quoted at 548 Cuban pesos (CUP), according to the reference rate from elTOQUE. The American currency is the most sought after by Cubans, both for emigration purposes and for purchasing food, medicine, and other basic products.

The euro reaches 625 CUP, solidifying its position as the foreign currency with the highest value on the island. The increasing demand is largely driven by travel to Europe and many Cubans' desire to safeguard their savings against inflation and the depreciation of the Cuban peso.

Meanwhile, the Freely Convertible Currency (MLC) is trading this Monday at 410 CUP in the informal market. Its value remains below that of the dollar and the euro, but it continues to be a key reference for purchases in state-run establishments in Cuba.
