El B, whose real name is Bian Oscar Rodríguez Galá, broke the silence this Sunday with an explosive video in which he directly targets his former duo partner Los Aldeanos, Aldo Roberto Rodríguez Baquero, known as Al2 El Aldeano, accusing him of attacking him and his partner Lía for 12 years.
The immediate trigger was the widespread sharing of his comments on social media, which, according to El B, were taken out of context: he responded to a fake profile that then deleted its own messages, leaving only the rapper's replies to make him look "like a madman."
"It's me, Bian Oscar Rodríguez. I'm not a secretary; I don't send people to speak for me," El B clarified at the beginning of the video, making it clear that he was speaking on his own behalf and without intermediaries.
The rapper was direct in pointing out his former partner: “You’ve been at it for 12 years, 12 years attacking my family, constantly attacking my wife, constantly, drawing attention to Lía, to Lía, so that no one notices what you have hidden.”
According to El B, people from Aldo's circle—whom he refers to as "the butler" and "the clown"—spent two months conducting live broadcasts and giving interviews to defame him and his partner, with Aldo's explicit consent.
El B claims that he tried to resolve the conflict privately on multiple occasions, but without success: "I tried thousands of times privately. The last time I did it through Instagram and all he did was block me."
As a concrete warning, the rapper announced that if Aldo's entourage acts again, he will begin to publicly reveal information about Mariela Cartaya Oltuski, described as the woman Aldo "had hidden" and with whom he married and had a child.
"I'll start talking about Mariela Cartaya Oltuski, the woman you had hidden. And any man who has to hide the woman he chose to marry and have a child with cannot speak about anyone else's woman," he declared.
El B also revealed that he had to hire a lawyer named Jonathan to regain access to his YouTube channel Hugo Larsen, which was linked to Mariela's account, preventing him from monetizing it.
Additionally, he described what he calls the "modus operandi" of Aldo's environment: "They dedicate themselves to annoying people in order to later impose the law."
The rapper announced that he has legal actions ready: "I have your case prepared too. A case for cyberbullying, a case for threats, a case for defamation. I already have it nice and thick, nice and thick for you."
El B and Aldo founded Los Aldeanos on February 27, 2003, in La Lisa, Havana, becoming one of the most influential duos in Cuban rap due to their critical content towards the dictatorship. The separation was a gradual process: in 2018, El B was already speaking about going their separate ways, and in December 2022, he declared that they would not reunite or perform together again.
Meanwhile, Al2 El Aldeano continued his solo career with notable international projection, including a nomination for the 2024 Latin Grammy for the song "Blam Blam" alongside Vico C.
El B ended his message with an explanation for his long silence: "I've been silent, you know why? Because of the mess surrounding the legacy. To avoid breaking the hearts of those who truly believed in this."
