The Cuban singer La Diosa published an episode of her podcast "Sin Filtro" on YouTube, in which she responded point by point to actress and comedian Zajaris Fernández following the Instagram live session in which she lashed out at her.
The controversy erupted after Zajaris reacted to comments that La Diosa made about her in a previous episode of her podcast, without having listened to the entire episode according to the singer.
“You have been hounding me for years, and I stayed silent, silent, silent because I didn't want to post any of this on my social media,” La Diosa stated during the more than 42 minutes of recording.
One of the central themes of the response was the humorous character "Chacha," which Zajaris uses to comment on the current state of Cuban entertainment. La Diosa accused the actress of having used him to incite the public not to buy her fragrance when she launched it: "It wasn't that I stopped selling perfumes; it was the gesture from woman to woman that was low, it was disgusting."
Regarding that same character, the singer was straightforward: "To speak like that, you don't need strength, Zajaris. To speak like that requires meanness, nothing more."
The Goddess also recounted an unprecedented episode: she claimed that she went to Zajaris's podcast to support her, but the recording ended in a heated argument because the actress was mocking one of the dancers from her first concert at the Watsco Center, calling him "fat" and "out of breath." According to the singer, she managed to prevent that episode from being aired.
Another point that the singer brought up was that Zajaris spoke negatively about her deceased mother: "You also rode that wave on the bones of my mother," she said.
La Diosa also defended her stance regarding Zajaris's public allegations against Al2 El Aldeano, her ex-partner, with whom she had a controversy that erupted in January 2026 and escalated again in May with new accusations of physical aggression. The singer stated that in her podcast, she had expressed support for Zajaris as a woman, and that the actress attacked her without having truly understood what she said.
For his part, Zajaris defended himself in his live stream by highlighting his career in television, theater, and film, and he stated a phrase that summarized his stance: "I have never had to endure any humiliation as a human being to become a backup singer, a soloist, or the lead in any of the work I've done."
The Goddess closed the episode with a message that blended advice and farewell: "Try to be a better person so that God can heal you. I, the Goddess of Cuba, will not feature you on my podcast anymore. I don't need to make money off you, Zajaris."
